Liverpool Community College is working with the Brothers of Charity in Merseyside to train their employees in NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Care.
The charity has received Train to Gain funding for carers to formalise their care experience and more recently funding for NVQs in customer service. They have also accessed the NVQ level 4 in Care and the Level 4 Leadership & Management in Care Award.
Brothers of Charity Learning & Development Manager Matt Joyce said: “The vocational nature of NVQs has had a direct and significant impact on the quality of service we deliver as an organisation. The excellent service we have received from the college has helped us to maximise our access to T2G funding, qualifying more of our workforce in less time. The considerable impact on retention and morale has better enabled us to meet the targets set within the care sector.”
